Performer and educator
Adam Davis began performing professionally in the Chicago area at the age of fifteen and has spent more than three decades as a performing, touring, and recording guitarist. He studied jazz guitar at Indiana University and Middle Tennessee State University and has collaborated with artists across a wide range of musical styles, including jazz, country, and popular music.
Alongside his performance career, Davis has maintained an active teaching practice since his teenage years. In 2025, he earned a Master of Arts in Teaching in Music from the University of Memphis and obtained Tennessee licensure in instrumental music education. His approach to teaching combines decades of professional performance experience with formal training in contemporary music pedagogy.
